Primary 3

Good morning P3!

How are you all today? Miss Cowan and myself would love for you to send an email to check in, you could send us an emoji and a sentence to describe how you are feeling today.

Literacy

Can you research an animal associated with Spring time? You can use books, video clips and websites. Reading for information is a very important skill for life, learning and work.

Once you have gathered notes on your topic, you have the option to create a Sway (this app can be found in Glow), write a report in your Home Learning Jotter or draw a picture of the animal and include a sentence about what you have learned.

Here is a list of recommended websites and remember keep safe online and ask an adult if it is okay before you begin.

www.kiddle.com – Child-friendly search engine

www.dkfindout.com

https://www.natgeokids.com/uk/

https://switchzoo.com/ – Just for fun!

Numeracy – I can talk about days, months and seasons and can relate this to how they are shown in different ways.

Time at home –  Find some different places at home that show dates (e.g. TV guides, computer, mobile phone, newspaper, etc.) and record these by drawing pictures or writing in your Home Learning Jotter.

Can you write the days of the week and months of the year  in your jotter? Remember capital letters,

Have a great morning,

Miss Sandy & Miss Cowan
