Good Wednesday Morning P4
Good morning Primary 4. How are you all today? This morning we are starting with spelling. You can choose from a new sumdog spelling challenge or if you can get outside and have some chalk, why not try writing your spelling words on the ground. Please ask if you are allowed before you do that! If you have someone to help, why not try the spelling races, where you start at one point and have your paper at another point. Someone tells you a word to spell and you have to run to the paper and write one letter at a time until you have written the whole word.
After spelling, is reading. I have typed up a few pages from each group’s reading book and turned it into a cloze passage. Just like think, pair, share that we were doing in class, read the story and try to fill in the missing words to make it make sense. You then have another task at the bottom of the page. I have attached the pages here.
After reading is problem solving. I have attached a problem solving sheet with different questions. If you are finding this quite easy, try some countdown from the NRich website. Keep thinking strategies!
When you have completed problem solving, try the new maths challenge on sumdog. Have fun!
