Good morning class!

It is Thursday already – this has been such a quick week and we have enjoyed seeing your work so far. Keep it up!

Here are your tasks for today:

Literacy

How many letters do we have in our alphabet? Can you write them in your home learning jotter before we begin. Double check to make sure they are all facing the correct way.

The alphabet includes 5 vowels – a,e,i,o,u and 21 consonant letters.

In this task you are asked to decide whether each noun has the word ‘a’ or ‘an’ before it. Hint: If the noun begins with a vowel you use ‘an’

Give it a go and let us know how you get on.

Choose a story from the Oxford Owls website (An adult can sign up for free or you can use the details username: MissSandy, password: kps1. Once you have read or listened to the story, create 3 questions to ask your teacher about the text.
