Mrs Marshall calling..........day 15

Good morning everyone – how did you get on with your relaxation activity from yesterday?  Did you manage to get someone else to join in too?

Your task today is to repeat the relaxation activity – sit still somewhere quiet – close your eyes – breath slowly – and listen to the noises around you.  Try to listen extra carefully so that you can hear even the quietest sounds.

Try and do this activity today – tomorrow and Sunday for 5 minutes each time.  The more you practice the easier it will become and the more you will enjoy it.  Try lying on your bed or outside in the garden – how many birds can you hear singing?

If you are in the garden, open your eyes and look at the clouds go by……..can you see any faces or shapes in the clouds.  I love doing this and it is also very relaxing   I like to put my i-pod on and listen to music when I watch the clouds – no distractions then 

Before the Easter holidays I asked you to try to relax and lie still whilst listening to some calming music.  I have put the link below for anyone who would like to try this again.  Remember, get in a comfy position and try to lie still for the whole piece of music……no fidgeting, no talking…….and no snoring
