Happy Monday Primary 7 - 27.4.20

Good Morning 7 – How are you all this lovely bright morning? I hope you all had a good weekend – any news you would like to share? Let me know in the Break time chat channel – I’d love to hear from you. 

First up this morning I’d like you to take a look at this picture – what can you see? Is anything out of the ordinary or different to what you would expect? Can you spot some things that are odd? Note down any of the differences – ask a question about it –  I’ll start you off – why do you think the man has his shoe on the wrong foot? 

Follow this thinking task with some spelling – words have been set on Sumdog for you so complete those activities then have a go at writing a paragraph with all your words – do  you understand the meaning of them all? Check using a dictionary – available online if you don’t have one at home. 

 After a break take a look at some maths – something different today – have a look at the RBS Money sense website – age 8-12 and play the budgeting game – what have you learned from this game? Remember the peas budget challenge that we played? Put those Numeracy skills to work! Mathletics is full of tasks for you to complete if you finish this game.
