The Very Hungry Caterpillar

We know that you are all doing a fantastic job at home learning all about caterpillars. Thank you to those of you who have sent in pictures of your caterpillar creations – they are amazing! We cannot wait to see your caterpillar snacks this afternoon. Miss Muir and I have posted ours – I am sure you will create something even better than what we have!

While we are learning about caterpillars there is a very good story that can help us with it. I am sure you know what it is! It is The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle. I am sure you have heard this story before but it is always a nice one to revisit.

This story helps us with learning the days of the week too! Can you have a practise of them? See if you can retell the story and remember what the caterpillar ate on each day of the week!
