Welcome Back Primary 4

Good morning Primary 4. I hope you had a nice break? What have you been doing the last couple of days in the nice weather?
This morning we are beginning with spelling. I have added the spelling grid for you to choose what tasks you want to do.
After spelling, I have added reading comprehension. There are mild, spicy and hot versions. It is questions based on the Roald Dahl book ‘James and the Giant Peach’. Don’t worry, you don’t need to have the book, there is an extract with the questions. Remember, only choose one of the mild, spicy or hot tasks.
After spelling is maths problem solving. I have chosen a task from the NRich website. It is called Torn Shapes and you have to try and work out how much of the paper has been torn off. It will make more sense when you read it. If you are doing the mild task, only answer the questions with the pictures. If you are going for spicy or hot, then try to answer all the questions.
Finish off this morning either with newsround or by playing sumdog maths challenge.
Remember the P4 Teams meeting at 2pm this afternoon. I will set up the meeting and you just have to click join. Hope to see you then.
