Good morning Primary 4. I hope you had a lovely long weekend? Remember our Teams meeting is at 11.15 today. I hope to see a lot of you there.
We are starting as usual on a Tuesday with writing. Tomorrow is National Bee Day, so I thought it would be nice to do our explanation writing on How to help wildlife. I have attached the explanation writing example and layout.
After writing. I would like us to revise adding. It’s always good to get some practise of things we can already do. I have attached a mild, spicy and hot version. The mild task is 2 digit adding, the spicy is 3 digit and the hot is 3 digit but also 3 separate numbers. You can either do it mentally or practise chimney sums.
Next will be our Teams meeting and then finish off this morning by thinking about growth mindset. As you already know, It is really important to have a growth mindset and not give up. This task helps you think about the different things you might say if you have a fixed mindset or a growth mindset. You don’t have to print the sheet, just write the different answers in your jotter.
