Sport's Day Primary 4

Good morning Primary 4. It’s a lovely sunny day. What a great day for Sport’s day. Remember if you haven’t yet completed the pupil questionnaire, please could you do it today? https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=oyzTzM4Wj0KVQTctawUZKZrs4PcouytMv6A2R0y6TENUOFlCMVkwOTQyUTc0UFE4R0E5OTc0T1RNTy4u
As today is Sport’s day, all our activities are going to be sports related. For writing this morning, I thought it would be nice to create an acrostic poem. If you remember, an acrostic poem is where you write a word down your page with one letter on each line. Then you have to start each line of the poem with that letter. Each line should be either a word or phrase related to the word. I have attached a template with the words “home sports day”. You can either use those words or to make it more KPS, why not use your house name. I have found out my house is Douglas. What house are you all in?
After writing, is maths. I have attached Sport’s Day related word problems. There are 25 of them covering mild, spicy and hot. Challenge yourself and have a go. If you find one too tricky, ask someone at home to help but don’t worry if you can’t get the answer.
At 11.15 is our weekly Teams meeting. I’m looking forward to hearing from you all and I hope lots of you can join in. As this is my first Sport’s Day at KPS I would love if you could tell me some stories about other Sport’s Days when you were in the infants.
Sport’s Day activities have been posted by Mrs Ferguson. Thank you to her for doing such a fantastic job of organising a very different Sport’s Day. I have tried to attach it here but you can also get it from Mrs Ferguson’s post.
