Good Afternoon P2!
Hi everyone,
This afternoon we are continuing with our Under the Sea theme and we would like you to use your imagination and creative skills!
The Oceans and Seas of the world contain islands. Some are big some are small. Some have people living on them, these are called habited islands. Some do not have anyone living on them and are uninhabited, but they still have things growing and living on them like plants, flowers and trees.
The five oceans of the world are theĀ Atlantic, Pacific, Indian, Southern and Arctic. See if you can remember these names!
Your task is to design your own island. You can choose one of the oceans listed for your island. You should think about: safety, water, shelter and food. Give your island a name! You can be as imaginative and inventive as you like! You can either draw it from an ocean view like the picture below or a bird’s eye view as it would look from the sky. Feel free to post your pictures on the blog as it would be nice to share them.
Spend time outdoors enjoying the fresh air this afternoon too. Stand still, close your eyes and listen… what sounds can you hear?
