P2 - Tuesday 9th June - AM
Good morning,
We hope you had a nice day yesterday.
This week we would like to do some learning activities linked to ‘The Gruffalo’ story. You can listen to the story here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s8sUPpPc8Ws . We thought today you may like to make a story stick. Here are the instructions on what to do.
Story Stick Equipment
How to make your story stick Go outside for a walk. While you are walking look out for interesting natural objects. This could be twigs, leaves, seeds, feathers and lots of other things. When you see something interesting, pick it up and use an elastic band to attach it to your stick. When you have completed your story stick, use it to remember some of the things you saw, heard, felt, or learned about on your walk. |
Numeracy
In the picture below, how many dots do you see in the 2 frames and how many more to make 20? Remember to use doubles and near doubles to help you. Write your answers on a piece of paper or your jotter.
Here is a game you can play with a dice and someone else https://nrich.maths.org/10092
Have a good morning everyone,
from Mrs Burn and Mrs Williams
