Primary 7 Activities Week - STEM Monday
Good Morning everyone and welcome back from virtual High School. It was good catching up on Friday with some of you and nice to hear your stories – having a positive attitude in difficult and worrying times can make all the difference! This week is going to be a bit different with an activities week. Each day will have a different theme for you to enjoy – of course you do any of the activities any day, this is just a suggestion. Today is going to be your STEM day – There are a couple of STEM booklets attached for you, most of the things you need will be around the house or you can adapt – remember Science is flexible! Take pictures of your results – let me know what worked and what didn’t and why this is – remember it’s not always just about a positive result – sometimes you learn more when mistakes happen.
PLEASE CHECK WITH AN ADULT BEFORE DOING ANY OF THESE ACTIVITIES
I’ve also included some links to find out more about great scientists and engineers of the past and present – what a different world we would live in without innovation! There are also some links to children’s inventions – remember the young engineer design challenge? What do you think is the most important invention? More to follow this afternoon – remember choose your activities, I don’t expect you to do them all! Have fun!
