As you explore these new places think about the following activities:

Activity 1: Once you have explored  – draw and write a postcard about the highlights of your trip – who would you send it to? What would you draw on the front?

Activity 2: Make notes about your trip – what are the highlights, what should you avoid – what I suitable for kids – what would you like to see more of? Bullet points with key information

Activity 3: Make up a quiz about one or all of the places you have visited – share it with people at home or email it to the class group – use Forms and select images/pictures to demonstrate your knowledge

Activity 4: Make a leaflet with the highlights/images from one of your destinations – this can be done on a word document through GLOW – select leaflet and you can choose your travel template

Activity 5: Write entries for a guide book – give your destination a star rating – extend your research by looking at flights or hotels to your destination –

Activity 6:  Plot your journey on a world map – how would you travel on your world tour – plane/train/boat/car/bus – how many miles would you cover – which airports o r train stations would you visit?

Activity 7: Look at all the different currencies for the countries you are visiting – what is the exchange rate – how much money do you think you would need?

Activity 8: Make up a scrapbook or photo album of the places you have visited – research pictures and add them to your document – be creative and decorate it with a description of the photograph
