Good Morning Primary 2! 16.6.20
Good Morning everyone,
Literacy
We have a story for you that was written and is read by Julia Donaldson. Listen to the story and listen out for the sounds you can see at the start
Can you remember?
What kind of job Paula has?
What was stuck in the cat’s paw?
What did the dog need to get better?
Is Paula good at her job?
Why was Paula not always happy at work?
What happened at the end to surprise Paula?
Hope you enjoyed listening to the story!
Numeracy
Try this number game. Choose the number range at the top that you feel most happy with. Then decide if you think the next card will be higher or lower than the last one you turned over.

You can play higher or lower with a pack of number cards, just turn over the top one and make your choice, then put the ones you guessed correctly into a separate pile. If you don’t have any cards you could make you own by cutting out squares of paper or card – just write the numbers 1 up to 20, or 20 up to 50 on them! (You could use the same cards to play other number games after!)
