West Lothian Council agreed, on 23 April 2019, to undertake formal consultation on the proposal to review admission arrangements arising from non-denominational school catchment variations at Polkemmet Primary School, Croftmalloch Primary School and Greenrigg Primary School
West Lothian Council agreed, on 23 April 2019, to undertake formal consultation on the proposal to relocate Cedarbank School, Livingston.
West Lothian Council agreed, on 23 April 2019, to undertake formal consultation on the proposals to (i) establish a new non-denominational secondary school at Winchburgh, (ii) review admission arrangements to establish the catchment area for the new school, (iii) review admission arrangements arising from non-denominational secondary school catchment area variations at Linlithgow Academy and Broxburn Academy and (iv) review transition arrangements from Primary to Secondary School.
West Lothian Council agreed, on 29 May 2018, to undertake formal consultation on the proposal to review admission arrangements arising from denominational school catchment variations at St Paul's Primary School East Calder, St Ninian's Primary School Dedridge and St Mary's Primary School Polbeth.

West Lothian Council agreed, on 23 April 2019, to undertake formal consultation on the proposals to (i) establish a new non-denominational primary school at Calderwood, East Calder, (ii) review admission arrangements to establish the catchment area for the new school, (iii) review admission arrangements arising from non-denominational primary school catchment area variations at East Calder Primary School and (iv) review transition arrangements from Primary to Secondary School.
Families on low incomes may be eligible to receive free school meals and milk for their children. There are also grants available to help towards the cost of school clothing.
