Afternoon Activities

Good afternoon Primary 3!

How did you all get on with your morning activities? It would be lovely to hear from some more of you today. As well as making time for some fresh air and exercise this afternoon, here are some activities to keep you busy!

This term we will be learning all about the outdoors, from creepy-crawlies, to plants and all things in between. This afternoon we will start off with a wordless picture book all about a mini-beast you will already be familiar with.

Your task:

Use your knowledge of our emotion work cogs and choose one character from the story to identify an emotion and a trigger (why they feel that emotion). Write these in your Home Learning Jotter and draw a picture of the part of the story you are describing.

Extension: Could you write your own version of this story, you could even record a narration of the story as you watch it and send it to myself or Miss Cowan.

Music

Tempo – This is the pace or speed at which a section of music is played

Listen to this  piece of music, then answer these questions:

Is it the same tempo throughout? Is it slow or fast? What do you think that represents – what is the wasp doing?

Enjoy your afternoon everyone!
