Good Afternoon P7 - Thursday 30th April
Good afternoon everyone = how about a blast from the past today and lets all do some ERAH (everyone reading at home) – take 15 mins and settle your brain back into the classroom, ready for learning.
This afternoon is a mixture of technology, HWB and music so I hope you find something you like!
First up have a look at this design and technology resource called “Dengineers” – there are some really interesting lessons to be learned here and it got me thinking about us creating our own dens – I now it’s a bit wet today but maybe this is a task you could design first then complete when it’s dry – or you could do it inside (remember to check with an adult before you start anything)

Also this afternoon I’d like you have a look at teams – for those of you who haven’t been using it please go in and have an explore – I am hoping to do a teams meeting tomorrow so I would like as many of you as possible accessing that. We can all learn tomorrow but I will be arranging the meeting in break room chat channel at 10:30 – you will see me there, just click on and join the meeting – remember I can’t see you so don’t worry too much about where you are – it would be lovely to chat to as many of you as I can – I miss you! We are also going to have a go at putting photos of work into your own folder on the class notebook – This will mean only I can see your work and will keep the chat clear for questions and answers – Ryan managed this very well today so hopefully he cn give us some instructions onhow to do it. If you are having trouble accessing teams or can’t remember, send me an email and I will talk you through any problems (hopefully)
Also this afternoon we can take a look at some Healthy Living learning – have any of you been cooking or helping out in the kitchen? Can you plan a healthy lunch for tomorrow using what you have in your kitchen and then make it – I’d love to see pictures, I’ll show you my lunch too!
An eatwell activity for you to do is also available here
Finally today is International Jazz day – I’ve attached an activity for you to do – scan the QR codes and have a listen – alternatively do some research yourself and find some jazz artists and songs that you like.
