Mrs Marshall Retires

We say a fond farewell to Mrs Marshall today as she leaves us to begin her much deserved retirement. Mrs Marshall has been a member of our KPS Team for 38 years and during that time she has taught generations PE and latterly supported children in the many groups she led on a daily basis, fostering resilience and problem-solving skills. Mrs Marshall had a special ability to build up children’s confidence and self-belief in themselves through promoting a positive growth mindset and these are invaluable skills children will take with them as they travel through life’s journey.

Many of you will be aware of the enormous role Mrs Marshall has played in supporting children over the past 9 years as our Nurture teacher. Not only has she played an instrumental role in supporting children over the years she has led staff development, focusing on Health and Wellbeing for all. We have all learned so much from her expertise over the many years. Mrs Marshall has had a hugely positive impact on many of our children and has promoted and lived out our school values of Kindness, Perseverance and Success.

Mrs Marshall will be sorely missed and will leave a deep imprint on many of our lives. I know you will all join the staff at KPS, both past and present, in wishing Mrs Marshall her a very happy and fulfilling retirement.
