Literacy:
We hope you enjoyed doing the ‘Centipede’s 100 Shoes’ activities as much as we loved seeing your work! Today we thought you could share with us a story you enjoy which has a Minibeast character. Have a go at recreating the blurb or write a review. Why should we read this story when we are together again during Milk and Story time?
Presenting information to an audience is an important skill and good to develop confidence. This morning we would like you to prepare a solo talk linking to our new topic – My Favourite Minibeast. (Start by selecting your favourite Minibeast. Use the Fact File in the Minibeast PowerPoint to help structure your talk. Remember to include a clear introduction and memorable ending. You could make a quiz to check your audience has been listening carefully!)
You’ll be success if the presentation…
– is 2-3 minutes in length.
-includes 5 interesting facts and your personal opinion.
-is delivered with good expression and eye contact.
We would LOVE to listen to your Presentations.. maybe you could record yourself or ask an adult to help you.
Numeracy:
Building on our measuring skills from yesterday, have a go at either the mild, spicy or hot activity.
