Design Technology

As part of design technology it is important to firstly learn about different materials.  Can you see how many different materials you can find around your house? Each time you find a new material, take a note of its properties.

Some questions to start with include:

• Is it smooth or soft or rough?
• Is it strong or flexible or both?
• Does it stretch?
• What colour is it?
