Primary 2 - Morning, 20th May
Good morning,
As it is Mental Health Week with a focus on kindness, we thought this was a nice thought for the start of the day:
Maths
In keeping with the rainbow theme, we would like you to try BBC bitesize Rainbow Maths Quiz. There are 10 questions you listen to and write down the answer. This is also a good task to help us practise our listening skills. https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/articles/zrm992p
Literacy
We would like you to try to write a thank you letter or draw a nice picture to someone thanking them for helping . Perhaps to someone in your family or a key worker you know? Remember your capital letters, finger spaces and full-stops.
Kindness Quotes
Can you try to make up your own quote about kindness. Here are some ideas for you. It would be lovely if you could share your ideas with us.
“A single act of kindness throws out roots in all directions, and the roots spring up and make new trees.” – Amelia Earhart
“Be kind whenever possible. It is always possible.” – Dalai Lama
“A warm smile is the universal language of kindness.” – William Arthur Ward
“If you want to lift yourself up, lift someone else up.” – Booker T. Washington
“Being kind doesn’t cost, but it can make you feel rich inside when you are kind.” – Mrs Burn
Have a lovely morning!
