Happy Friday P4
Good morning Primary 4. It’s Friday, yay! Let’s start this morning with number talks. The mild question is 3 x 6, the spicy question is 3 x 16 and the hot question is 3 x 166. Remember to write down as many different strategies as you can. How many ways can you work out the question. Think about partioning, repeated addition, are there any doubles in there?
Next is free writing. Try to stretch your imagination. If you want, why not try and create a Sway story, just like Luke Henderson. Of course, you can just do normal free writing in your jotter too! I can’t wait to read your stories.
After free writing, can you try to do some reflections. Think about what you have been learning this week in literacy, numeracy and anything else. Have you created a bug hotel?, created paper plane races in P.E., learned to make a Sway? I’m sure you have been doing lots this week. The 4th box is about our school values this week. How have you persevered this week?
Finish off the week by playing sumdog or if you would rather play maths games with your family why not try that instead. Can you win at buzz on the 7 x table?
