Sports Day Afternoon!

Good afternoon Primary 1!

I hope you are enjoying taking part in our Sports Day activities and are counting up all your scores! Which house do you think will win? If you haven’t yet started and are in need of some motivation have a listen to the song that Mrs Ramsay has posted for you – I am sure it will have you up and raring to go!

If you manage to get through all of Mrs Ferguson’s challenges and are still eager for more sports day fun perhaps you could come up with your own challenges! See if you can get people at home to join in with your games.

Miss Muir and I will also be sharing some more ‘all’ videos this afternoon so hopefully you will have some time to work through these. Why don’t you incorporate your spelling words into your games? You can write down your ‘all’ words and spread them around your garden or house. Have someone at home call out one of the words and see how quickly you can run to the correct one! You could try moving in different ways, too – hop, jump, skip, crawl… how many others can you think of?

Please try to also have a go at Mrs Piper’s latest art challenge. We know you all did a fantastic job of creating caterpillars and butterflies recently so let’s see what other insects you can create. You are all so artistic and talented we know you will design wonderful things! Remember to share your pictures on your Learning Journals so we can see your beautiful work!
