Good Afternoon everyone – here are some activities for you to keep you busy!
Watch this clip from the BBC about teenagers in different countries during lockdown – it’s quite interesting. If you were going to make a report for the BBC about your day what would it look like?
Science
We have looked at microbes and micro-organisms – take a look at this – watch the video, play the game, identify and solve the problems in the kitchen. Take a look in your kitchen at home – can you identify any problems?
Also have a look at the http://cookincastle.com/game where you make choices about your diet and hygiene around the castle
Finally you can check out the food poisoning and bacteria presentation and make up your own quiz using forms to test our knowledge – I’ll post any quizzes received tomorrow so everyone can have a go.
Music – There are so many different kinds of music out there – with the sun shining I thought it might be fun to learn a little bit about Samba – This informative PowerPoint introduces Brazil’s most well-known musical form – Samba! Each instrument is introduced and is accompanied with sound clips. Also includes a Samba instruments quiz. Have a go at creating your own samba rhythms either electronically or with your own design using objects at home – have fun!
