Good Morning Primary 7 - 28th May
Good morning everyone – how are you all today? I hope you enjoyed the sunshine yesterday, it really was a beautiful day.
Literacy – Writing – Today have a look at the 10 minute challenges from authors who will challenge you to write .Abi Elphinstone has become one of my new favourite authors, I wish I could have read you her latest book when we studied the Rainforest! Have a look at her challenge , obviously you can take longer than the 10 minutes if you want to (normally in class it takes 10 minutes to sharpen pencils and get ready to write!) but make sure you watch all the way to the end because she does share her moment with you and give you some feedback – have a go – I loved this idea, there are so many authors to choose from!
Numeracy –Data Handling week continues – please have a go at some more of the problems in the activity from Tuesday – also I have set Mathletics Data Handling problems for you.
Alternatively you could have a go at this challenge – Handling data in football.

HWB – PE – today why don’t you set up some high impact stations outside and work on your fitness – it’s the Fun Run on Friday – we need to be ready for Mrs Marshall!!!

We have this book at home, I think I could do a whole assembly on it sometime! I’ve picked out three feelings which I thought would be good to think about today and ‘Connect’ with someone at home…
Happy, Brave, Hopeful – My friend made me these beautiful stones. It was so kind of her. I have one for each colour. Maybe we could think through the other emotions at some point?
Have a lovely day, Mrs Piper
