This afternoon I have set you some activities all based around a picture. What can you tell from this picture? It’s time to use our thinking skills!

 

Perfect picture!

Think about what has happened to the figure. Can you draw what they are thinking?

Question time!

Where is the figure sitting?

Why have they gone there?

What do you think might have happened?

What time of day do you think it is?

What would you say to them if you were sat next to them on the bench?

What do you think the light is in the distance?

Sentence challenge!

Can you make a list of feelings/emotions to describe how the figure might be feeling? Can you write a sentence that begins with 1,2 or 3 emotions?

E.g. Petrified, the man…

Sad and lonely, the boy…
