Good Afternoon Primary 1!
Hi Primary 1!
We hope that you are having a wonderful Wednesday so far and enjoyed listening to the story called In My Heart this morning. We are looking forward to seeing all of the different emotion words that you come up with. Identifying emotion words links with our orange emotion works cog.
We have a fun activity for you to take part in this afternoon. Miss Calder has recorded a story for you called Oliver’s Milkshake and we have uploaded this to your learning journal, go on this afternoon and have a listen. We love this story and hope that you will love it too. After you have listened to the story we would like you to make your very own delicious milkshake. There is another video uploaded to your journal which shows you how to make one! Have a little look and then have a go at making your own at home. Can you write a recipe to tell someone else how to prepare a milkshake at home? Remember to include a title, list or draw your ingredients and equipment and use numbers to list the instructions.
In the story Oliver visits a farm and sees a lot of animals. Why don’t you have a go at learning the name for some farm animals in French this afternoon? Have a look at the video and try to say some of the words!
Have a wonderful afternoon and enjoy making your delicious milkshakes.
