Afternoon Activities
Good afternoon Primary 3!
We hope you have had lots of fun today and have managed to take part in some learning activities too! You are doing so well, keep it up!
Spend some time drawing this afternoon. The National Aquarium in Baltimore is streaming live videos of their enclosures. Follow this link and watch the beautiful underwater scenes, use this as inspiration to create a drawing or painting using all of the colours you can see in the video.

Play Around the World
Playing is such an important part of human life, we all love to have fun! It is how children learn about the world around them and develop new skills. Look at these photos of games from around the world:
Throwing and catching games. Throw 5 items and see how many you can catch on the back of your hand!
Mancala – board game that is popular in West Africa and the Caribbean.
You have a choice of which activity you would like to do this afternoon.
1 – Can you create your own simple game that you could teach us? You could use paper/card to create a board game or find items around your home to create a throwing and catching game (nothing fragile of course!)
2 – Research traditional games from other countries around the world, are any games similar to games you play? I bet there are many similarities. Maybe you could give one a try!
When researching you can use https://www.kiddle.co/ for child-friendly searching!
Enjoy your afternoon exploring! Even if we can’t go too far, we can bring the world to us!!
