Good morning and welcome to the start of a brand new week!

We hope you all had a great weekend with your loved ones and are well rested for a day of some learning activities.

Thanks to those of you who sent over ideas for our topic, we can reveal that we will be learning about music until the Summer holidays! I hope this is something you will all enjoy.

Extension – Can you identify the rhyming words in the following list? Read the word on the left first and search through the next three to finds it’s partner. It does not need to have the same spelling rule – listen to the sound of the word to see if it is similar.

Follow your activity with some DEAR time – Find a nice, quiet spot with a book you love and spend 15 minutes reading.

Numeracy

Spend time this morning practising your 2 and 3 times tables. Here some songs to help you!

Use what you remember to answer the following problems. (Try and do this from memory, but you can always use your strategies to help you too!) Copy and complete in your jotter:

2 x 5 =                                                       2 x 7 =

2 x 8 =                                                       3 x 2 =

3 x 4 =                                                       3 x 6 =
