Primary 3
Hello everyone! We hope you are all well and ready for some learning today. Today in Literacy we are going to revise adverbs.
An adverb describes a verb, here are some examples to help you:
The boy ran quickly across the football pitch to score a goal.
The baby cried loudly because she was hungry.
Can you complete the following activity and choose a suitable adverb for each? Remember to write in full sentences. Complete this in your jotter to practise your handwriting skills.
Numeracy
Here are today’s Number Talks sums, remember to use different strategies. Can you remember what they are called?
- partitioning
- doubles
- near doubles
- number bonds to ten
- counting on
(These are just some of the strategies we have discussed in class and remember everyone has their own way of working things out in numeracy!)
Can you listen to the song and practise the 4 times table?
Can you find objects around your house to make groups of four? You could use Lego, toy cars, game cases. How many groups of four did you make? What was the product (the total)?
Enjoy your morning,
Have a great day!
