Afternoon Activities
Good Afternoon Everyone! We hope you have had a great morning and are ready for our afternoon session. Check in to let us how you are feeling!
Take time this afternoon to enjoy this eBook called ‘Rain before Rainbows’. We have created lots of different images of rainbows throughout this time and explored the spectrum of colour. Today we are going to focus on its symbolism (what it represents). Rainbows represent hope for many of us! What does hope mean to you? https://stayhome.walker.co.uk/rainbows/
Copy and complete this image, or create your own similar rainbow with a golden pot. In the pot write down what you hope for in the near future. Perhaps, you hope to be able to see family/friends or play your favourite team sport/game…
Your Music Activity: The video below is going to teach you how to read and create rhythms. You can clap along too if that helps keep the beat!
Here is a wee hint:
Ta (sounds like car) & Ti-Ti (sounds like tea-tea)
Have a go at creating your name melody, if you haven’t got an instrument at home. You can use this virtual piano – https://www.musicca.com/piano
Name Melody
You could start with your first name and if you fancy a challenge include your surname too. Don’t forget to send your recordings or pictures to your teacher – We love to see what you are doing!
We hope you have an amazing afternoon!
