Good Afternoon Primary 1!
Hello Primary 1!
We hope you enjoy the wonderful story mixed this afternoon. This story had a very important message within it. Talk to someone at home about the message within the story.
Everyone is different and unique and it is important that we all celebrate and appreciate everyone! Why don’t you have a little sing of Be Yourself ( we have put a link onto your learning journal) and remind yourself just how brilliant you are!
This afternoon can you draw a self portrait of yourself? Please remember to include your features on your face plus your hands and feet! Try to include as much detail as you can! Remember to use the correct colour for your eyes and hair. If you have time you could draw a portrait of someone else in your home! What is similar between you and what is different?
In the story lots of new colours were made and the story taught you how to make these colours. Can you remember any of the colours that mixed to make a new one? If you have paint at home then why don’t you try mixing primary colours to make new colours? Can you mix yellow, red and blue to make the colours of a rainbow and make a beautiful rainbow?
We think you are all fabulous just the way you are and we know that your families will too! Why don’t you spread kindness this afternoon and tell someone at home your favourite thing about them this afternoon so that they know just how fantastic you think they are too!
Please remember to refer to your journal post and try to complete Mrs Piper’s Art challenge this afternoon.
Mrs Ferguson has also posted lots of family games that you could try out at home!
Have a lovely afternoon everyone!
