Fun Friday - 19th June

Good morning Primary 7 – I hope you have all enjoyed your activities week – I’d like to think we would have been doing some fun activities in class this week too! Here are a few fun suggestions to finish off the week – Teams Meeting at 11:30 remember! 

So tonight would have been the P7 party – we are going to plan a virtual party today instead! How would you have organised it?

Activity 1: first of all I’d like you to create a playlist of all your favourite songs – put them on and dance until you drop – what songs would you have picked? 

Activity 2: every good party needs party food – if I gave you a budget of £50 what would you spend that money on? Have a look at the price of food online – remember there are 25 people in our class so we would need enough food and drinks for everyone! 

Activity 3: decorations are very important – how would we decorate the hall –would there be a theme? You have £30 for decorations – what could you make to save money? 

Activity 4: do you want some party games at your event? Make up some fun ice-breaker games or look to the old favourites like musical bumps etc 

Activity 5: every event needs a programme – what will happen when? Will you start with a game or music – do you have a special area for photographs or an appointed photographer? When do you want the food served? What order will you play the music in? Write a detailed plan then design a stylish programme to display at your party. 

Activity 6: finally you will need a guest list, apart from pupils in the class who else would be invited? You could design your own invitations too – remember to stick to the theme!

Activity 7: Of course you may not want to get involved in the party so can you think of an alternative event to celebrate? Research the cost of cinema trips/bowling/pizza express/trampolining/party bus – what would the cost be and what would your alternative evening look like?
