Good Afternoon Primary 2!
Good Afternoon everyone. For our last afternoon together in primary 2 we have given you a selection of activities to try. The first is the code breaker.
Use the grid at the top of the page to match each number to a letter and see if you can read the messages! Then you could try to write your own message for someone else to decode.
Storytime We think you would enjoy listening to this story about The Bravest Fish…
Take time today and tomorrow to think back over your year in primary 2 – what were some your favourite memories? What were your favourite home schooling activities?
Think of some of the things you will want your new teacher to know about you… It could be your hobbies and interests, some of your favourites, the things that you are good at, the things that you would like to get better at. Write these things down or get someone to write them for you so you can remember them after the holidays and share them.
You could be thinking of these things when you are out walking or out playing in the sunshine this afternoon! If you are outdoors think back at some of the outdoor nature activities we have covered during home learning time. Here are some things you could make using nature, twigs, leaves, flowers, grass, seeds, pine cones…
make a picture frame – can you make each side symmetrical?!
make a portrait of yourself
Create an animal – can you make your favourite?
make your name
rock painting or chalk drawing
Or you could just make yourself comfy outdoors and read a good book!
Have a lovely afternoon and stay safe!
