Good Morning Primary 2! 26.6.20

Good Morning Primary 2!

We have both written you a note today – and there are some activities for you too!

I would just like to say a big thank you to all the children and families for all their hard work and support this year.  Today is my final day at Knightsridge Primary School, as I move to another school after the summer. I have thoroughly enjoyed teaching at Knightsridge Primary School, and will miss the children, staff and families.  I hope everyone has a lovely summer and I wish all the children the best of luck as they move into Primary Three.  Thank you! From, Mrs Burn

Hi everyone. It’s the last day of term and the final day of our school year! I would just like to say it has been a pleasure to teach you all and to watch you grow and develop friendships over the past year. I would like to thank you and your families for your support and all the hard work you have put in to make Primary 2 a memorable year in so many ways!  I would also like to say a big thank you to Mrs Burn for being such an amazing part of Primary 2 this year and wish her all the best from P2 as she starts in her new school.

I wish you all a happy and enjoyable summer holiday! Stay safe, make good choices and look after each other.

From Mrs Williams

Some activities for you today…

Write a summer holiday bucket list!

Make a list of all the things you would like to do, people you would like to see and places you would like to visit during the summer holidays! Remember it is a list so there is no need to write in sentences – just note down things as they come into your head. Chat about them with others at home and find out what they would have on their list!

Create – Make a card or draw a picture to say thank you to someone at home for helping you while you have been learning from home.

Reflect and think about…Think about some of the things you have learned this year – what have you tried really hard to learn? You have all achieved lots this year, maybe with spelling, reading, or handwriting. Or maybe with counting or addition or subtraction. Maybe you have made some amazing new friends and become more confident working with others. What achievements have you made? Note these down and write down one thing you want to work hard at and get better at in Primary 3.

Read or listen to a story. Your choice today! Remember The Summer Reading Challenge has gone digital this year to ensure children can still take part even though they’re unable to visit our libraries just now. Here are some details of this year’s challenge and information on how to join in:
